Abstract

Objective: For infection control, dental workers' awareness of non-risk instruments and related infection control protocols commonly used in dental treatment or medical institutions was investigated, and infection control status was studied. Methods: This study involved 141 dental workers at S dental hospitals, Y dental clinics, I dental clinics, and H dental clinics in Gwangju and Gyeonggi-do. The study participants are G.With the power 3.1 program, 141 people were calculated with an effect size of 0.3, a significance level of 0.05 and a power of 0.95. After visiting the dentist in person to explain the purpose of the study and how to fill out the questionnaire, it was retrieved after self-filling. The questionnaire was 13 questions, and the alpha of the reliability statistic Cronbach was .083, indicating high reliability. Results: In the descriptive statistics of univariate variance analysis of hand hygiene performance when moving contaminated areas, the younger the age, the lower the hand hygiene performance when moving contaminated areas. Conclusion: Conducting hand hygiene after contact with age and contaminated areas. In wearing hand hygiene gloves, the F statistic is 2.698, significance probability .002, which is significantly explained at significance level .05. In other words, hand hygiene after contact with age and contaminated areas. Wearing hand hygiene gloves was found to be at a low level.
