Abstract
The proton-proton scattering and one pion production in proton-proton collision at 0.97 Ge V are analysed in terms of the one boson exchange model. The pion production is as sumed to proceed through the (3-3) resonance production. The one rc, one p, one (J) and one scalar meson exchange are taken for the elastic proton proton scattering amplitudes T tio, and the one rc and one p exchange for the (3-3) resonance production amplitudes TB0• In order to satisfy the unitarity condition these one boson ex change amplitudes are related with the S matrix by
