Abstract

Inelastic longitudinal electrons scattering form factors to 2+ state in 64,66,68 Zn isotopes have been calculated in the F5P shell model space with the F5PVH effective interaction. The harmonic oscillator potential has been applied to calculate the wave functions of radial single-particle matrix elements. Two shell model codes, CP and NUSHELL have been used to obtain the results. Both the form factors and the reduced transition probabilities with core–polarization effect gave a reasonable description of the experimental data.
