Abstract

Special features of inelastic longitudinal deformation of sheets in loading during explosion welding are examined. The stress—strain state of the sheet is determined by solving a system of equations which includes the equations of conservation of mass, pulse, and energy at the given equation of state of the material. Calculation dependencies for determining the residual longitudinal strain are determined. A quantitative comparison of the calculated and experimental data is carried out.
