Abstract

Manders (Holdings) plc last month announced their results for the year ended 31st December 1991. Turnover at £101.6m was slightly down on 1990's £104.8m, with pre‐tax profits at £6.0m compared with £6.6m for 1990. Roy Amos, chairman, commented: “In difficult trading conditions the Group's profits and turnover held up well. We increased our penetration in the core business areas of paints and inks and at the year‐end we significantly strengthened our position in the retail decorative paint sector with the acquisition of Windeck Paints Ltd.”
