Abstract
FOLLOWING the European Commission's decision to tighten the rules governing the classification and administration of tilmicosin (Micotil; Elanco Animal Health) (VR, July 8, 2006, vol 159, p 31), the bva, in association with the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (vmd), the British Cattle Veterinary Association, the Sheep Veterinary Society, Elanco Animal Health and the Farmers' Union of Wales, has produced the following joint notice and guidance.
