Abstract

AbstractWith the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution overall transformation in industries using intelligent manufacturing engineering and digital transformation has changed the production systems. At present, all engineering devices are equipped with automation and machine learning which has become a priority for most of industries and indicates that fourth industrial revolution is in making. There is a need to address the opportunities of sustainable manufacturing in Industry 4.0 which will help to achieve the sustainability 2030 goals. This study mapping intends to identify that how sustainable manufacturing research is contributing to the development of Industry 4.0. In this study, bibliometric mapping using different performance metrics are extracted from Scopus database. The co-authorship between authors and countries is analyzed with the help of VOSviewer. This paper summarizes the research growth of sustainable manufacturing in Industry 4.0 during 2015–2020 and provides the future research scopes on the basis of study mapping.KeywordsBibliometric analysisIndustry 4.0Sustainable manufacturingScopus
