Abstract

The work was focused on evaluating and redesigning processes in the leather treatment production system. Leather treatment is a booming industry in the Andean regions of Latin America. In this sense, this study is based on a tannery located in Peru. This work is dedicated to developing an approach to improve processes based on optimizing personnel movements. The correct study of the planning of the areas where the actions that aim to obtain leather are executed using strategies that do not require expensive investments in tools or software since optimizing processes without making significant capital investments is sought.
