Abstract

Aiming at the problem of uniformity of alumina concentration in aluminum reduction cell, a method of uniform control of alumina concentration based on "single point feeding" was proposed, and industrial experiment was carried out combined with the anode effect prediction system based on on-line anode current detection system. The results show that it can greatly improve the stability and reduce the anode effect coefficient in aluminum reduction cells. To a certain extent, it can increase the current efficiency of the electrolysis process and decrease the DC power consumption without significantly changing the running state.
