Abstract

The technique of designing inductorless active filters by replacing the inductors in the conventional LC communication filter with gyrators, resistors, and capacitors has drawn attention of people, particularly at low frequency, up to 100 KHz, which is useful range for multiplex telephony. A conventional band-pass LC filter is transformed to RC active filter. The design, and characteristics are plotted. A simple gyrator principle is given.
