Abstract

A theoretical investigation of electromagnetic processes in the working zone of the inductor system with the attracting screen and rectangular solenoid is carried out. The calculated ratios for eddy currents excited by oppositely directed currents of the rectangular solenoid winding in the screen and sheet metal are obtained. Expressions to specify the distributed force of attraction of a dent in sheet metal with the rigidly fixed screen as well as forces of magnetic pressure on the sample are determined.
