Abstract
An intermittent extrathoracic airway obstruction due to adduction of vocal cords, formerly referred to as Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) and now as ILO or VCD/ILO, can lead to sudden dyspnoea of varying intensity mimicking asthma attacks.
