Abstract
We show that induced waveguiding of a cw probe by a spatial soliton pump in a two-dimensional (one longitudinal and one transverse spatial dimension) Λ-configuration atomic medium can be achieved. The effects of probe-pump detuning and the initial probe transverse momentum on waveguiding are also examined.
