Abstract

Abstract New shoots of a tetraploid grape (Vitis vinifera L. × V. labrusca L. cv. Kyoho; 2n = 76) treated with p-fluorophenylalanine produced a mutant shoot with 57 chromosomes. The mutant shoot had small, thin leaves and a bushy growth habit.
