Kasepuhan indigenous people have been living around Mount Halimun Salak National Park (MHSNP) for a long time before MHSNP area expanded from 40,000 hectares to 113,000 hectares. The existence of Kasepuhan Community can not be separated in MHSNP management. This study aims to determine the type of utilization of MHSNP by Kasepuhan Sinarresmi Indigenous People. The utilization consists of land use utilization and non timber forest products (NTFPs) utilization. The study was conducted in Sirnaresmi village in September 2014 with a total of 32 respondents from Kasepuhan Sirnarresmi People that were selected randomly/intentionally (purposive sampling). Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Types of NTFPs that are utilized: 18.75% of respondents utilize medicinal plants, all respondents utilize firewood, 43,75% utilize bamboo, 6.25% utilize ornamental plants, 6.25% utilize rattan, and 40.62% of respondents utilize grass as fodder. Besides harvesting non timber forest products, Kasepuhan People also using MHSNP as arable land. Land using of MHSNP contributed 42.29% of the total household income of respondents. MHSNP natural resources are the foundation of life for Kasepuhan People in meeting their needs.
