Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesia's role in supporting Palestinian independence and responding to current issues related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Since the beginning of its independence, Indonesia has shown a strong commitment to the struggle for Palestinian independence. Factors such as anti-colonialism values, strong attachment to Islam, and concern for humanity have encouraged Indonesia to continue to support the rights of the Palestinian people. In the context of international diplomacy, Indonesia has utilized its membership in various organizations, such as the UN, OIC, and NAM, to fight for the Palestinian issue. The quick response to unilateral policies regarding the status of Jerusalem and active involvement in international forums shows Indonesia's seriousness in supporting Palestinian independence. With good relations with major powers in the Middle East and involvement in regional and international organizations, Indonesia has great potential as a mediator in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
