Abstract

Background and Aim: Embryo culture until the blastocyst stage is a common practice in most assisted reproduction laboratories. There are two different strategies for embryo culture, individually or in groups. Until now, it is accepted that embryos cultured in groups can interact each other, improving embryo quality. However, other studies did not find differences in embryo development when using either method. The aim of this study was to determine which culture method is better in terms of quality embryo rate, blastocyst formation rate, usable embryo rate, implantation and pregnancy rates.
