Abstract

This paper analyzes the influence of the film director and actress Anna Lacis on the Walter Benjamin?s letter and interests. Benjamin?s thought-world, with Anna Lacis, enter the idea of revolutionary art, dialectical materialism, as well as party activity. Benjamin?s letter reveals dynamism, fragmentation and focus on the objective world of contemporaneity, in which the futuristic manner of the letter, the constructivist foundations of the organization of the world and the orientation to the facts in the literary record are recognized. The paper discusses the relationship between individual and collective, creative and organized life in Benjamin?s understanding during his stay in Moscow in late 1926 and early 1927.
