Abstract

The thiosulfate present in fixing solutions was destroyed on-line by acidification and the undissolved gaseous products were separated from the flow stream by use of polytetrafluoroethylene microporous tubing. The silver was precipitated with an excess of sulfide, and the excess was measured with a silver/silver sulfide electrode. Silver was determined in several ranges from 1 mg 1 −1 to 10 g l −1.
