Abstract

Indices of functional testing and life quality of older age group women with fractures of vertebral bodies depending on their quantity

Highlights

In the analysis of clinical and anamnestic parameters, depending on the presence of vertebral fractures (VF), it was found that the examined women did not differ significantly according to indices of calendar age, menarche age, menopause and the duration of the postmenopausal period
Physical capabilities of the body were evaluated using static and dynamic functional testing (FT), violation of living abilities - according to the questionnaire of Roland-Morris, quality of life - according to the questionnaire EuroQol-5D
The probable differences in the EQ-5D questionnaire indices were not detected depending on the number of VFs

Introduction

Під час оцінювання показників функціонального тестування в осіб залежно від наявності та кількості переломів тіл хребців нами не виявлено достовірних відмінностей показника проби Томайера, яка оцінює загальну рухливість хребта, проте встановлено достовірно гірші показники проби Шобера, що оцінює рухливість його поперекового відділу, як у жінок з одним ВП (3,1 ± 2,3 см; t = 2,7; р = 0,008), так і в осіб з двома й більше переломами тіл хребців (3,5 ± 3,1 см; t = 2,6; р = 0,009)
