Abstract

Since the early 2000s, an increasing number of data sources – on both migration policies and migration and integration trends – have emerged in Europe and at the international level. This chapter presents the main sources and datasets when it comes to analysing policies on migration and integration as well as migration trends and migrant integration. The chapter illustrates these data sources by addressing the topics and groups of migrants covered, and the data’s geographical and temporal scope. Data accessibility is also discussed. The chapter concludes with some reflections on the remaining gaps and on the use of the presented data sources and data.
