Customer requirements focus on service quality areas in particular. The availability of a postal service to a user is generally one of its most important quality characteristics. The availability of individual network devices provides an indicator as a particular object available for other locations in the analysed area. This article refers to the mathematical calculation of availability indicator by using gravity methods. The availability of postal services is shown in the defined territory by isochrone map. In this way, it is possible to determine the availability of postal services in a particular area, which is advantageous for the postal service provider with a view to improving the service, especially for those users to whom postal services are not available.
