Abstract
The paper concerns effect of micro-focal processes of landscape transformation in desertified deltas in th arid zone. Some particular stages of the pant community succession had been revealed. Genetic link of these transformation with complex terrestrial ecosystem degradation had been derived.

He regarded desertification as a vast group of processes of reorganization of natural systems, which are different in the depth in the rate of development, duration and the final ecological effect, but united with a common degradation direction, determining the reduction of biodiversity and productivity of biotic communities
One should foresee that the started climatic changes and rapid anthropogenic transformations of the delta ecosystems of the Amu Darya lower reaches, which have already generated the centers of regional ecological disasters, can acquire the regional scale and become a threat to the global changes in the biosphere
Summary
The paper concerns effect of micro-focal processes of landscape transformation in desertified deltas in th arid zone. Aridization of the delta ecosystems of the Amu Darya lower reaches is accompanied by the development of desertification of meadow vegetation.
