Abstract

Gandhi’s strategy of Non Cooperation envisaged for reaching consequences in the struggle for freedom. The programmes gave a new dimension to the concept of freedom movement. Hindu- Muslim unity, constructive economic and social goals and national education were programmes that involved mass participation. A strategy of the magnitude and implications depended for its success much on the Vernacular Press Nationalist newspapers with a brave heart to oppose British Government, to educate and to achieve the people were most needed.
