Abstract

Shubhrajeet Konwer analyses New Delhi’s position on the war in Ukraine and the limits of its delicate ‘balancing act’. He argues that India’s relations with the West have crossed the minimum threshold level of cooperation and as such both parties need to handle each other’s misgivings. New Delhi’s perspective towards Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is only likely to change if there is substantial reversal of Russia’s position on issues related to India’s national security.◼
