Abstract

This index section contains a list of names and concepts that occur in the book Christ and the Law in Paul. The entries are arranged in alphabetical order. This book views about the main issues on the law that scholarship has raised, and that arise from an attentive reading of Paul's epistles. The main task is to discover the question that Paul is asking and answering, and the key which explains his varied negative and positive statements on the law. It also briefs about the law to the believer's participation in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and to show that Christ is the telos of the law in Rom 10:4 in the sense that for the believer he ends the enslavement, condemnation, and death which the law has brought. Keywords: condemnation; enslavement; Jesus Christ; Paul's epistles; telos
