Abstract

This thesis highlights the indemnification of victims of motor accidents. It brings out the similarities and differences between English law which was the former applicable law in Anglophone Cameroon and the CIMA Code which is at present the applicable law in Cameroon. This thesis aims to compare and measure the suitability or otherwise of the rules under both systems in matters of indemnification of victims of motor accidents. In undertaking these analyses, the thesis also identifies the innovations of the CIMA Code in Anglophone Cameroon in the domain of indemnifications of victims of motor accidents.
