Abstract
In this paper, we propose an incremental method in the scope of a Model Driven Engineering (MDE) approach used to develop XML Schema models. The suggested MDE approach is based on an abstraction layer thanks to UML class diagrams, and on a series of transformations allowing the definition of XML Schema models. Our method of aims at minimizing model errors and optimizing the process of model checking. So, we introduce the notion of contexts of validation allowing the check of the data model sub-parts. We also use the first-order logic to specify the constraints that the models have to verify. A of our approach is presented through an application that we developed.
