Abstract
In this paper, we present an incremental multilevel matrix filling and sparsification scheme for the method of moment (MoM) solution of the electric field integral equation at low and very low frequencies. The proposed scheme allows a strong reduc- tion of the memory requirements without a loss in accuracy. Nu- merical results show the method performance in terms of memory requirements, CPU time and accuracy with respect to the standard MoM, the multilevel fast multipole algorithm, and the adaptive cross approximation.
