Abstract

The local electroretinogram of a cynomolgus macaque was recorded with a microelectrode in the foveal region. The spectral sensitivities of the late receptor potential and the b-wave were measured on a 4000 td white background. The late receptor potential showed a V λ like spectral sensitivity function while the b-wave spectral sensitivity peaked at 460, 540 and 600 nm, thus reflecting interaction between different cone classes.
