Abstract
Today's community activities are made easier by the internet, this convenience also results in acts that violate the law. And the largest number of social media users are teenagers aged 18 – 24 years. Teenagers are vulnerable to filtering information received through social networks, this is a lack of understanding among teenagers, especially students, regarding the legal consequences if the information created is contrary to applicable provisions, in this case the ITE Law. Jakarta Islamic University Service Team carries out legal counseling activities to MAN and MAS students throughout Tangerang City regarding Understanding the Use of Information Technology in accordance with the ITE Law. This activity is intended to help students understand the legal consequences of using information technology if it is not enforced in accordance with the ITE Law. This service activity is carried out based on the results of research on the phenomenon of phubbing, self-control, socio-economics and social interaction. The method of implementing service is carried out in the stages of preparation, implementation, evaluation of activities, and reporting of activity results.
