Abstract

The article analyzes the existing conceptual apparatus in the field of eco-driving. The choice of criteria for
assessing eco-driving is justified, allowing to reduce fuel consumption during vehicle operation and reduce the negative
impact of road transport on the environment. An eco-driving assessment system has been developed, which directly affects
the driver’s compliance with eco-driving rules and his performance, which entails monthly bonuses or fines. The effect
of introducing eco-driving is reflected: reduction in fuel costs by adjusting driving style; slowing down the rate of wear
and, as a result, reducing the cost of repairs and maintenance of vehicles. Also, the importance of training mechanics
and drivers in eco-driving is substantiated.
