Increasing the efficiency of nursing management in the provision of medical services in the home

Abstract

The need to study the nursing management system in the provision of in-home medical services is due to the fact that in the Russian Federation until recently, there was a lack of not only a unified interdisciplinary system for helping patients at home, but also of its satisfactory concept. Aim. Development of proposals to improve the quality of management of nursing activities in the provision of in-home medical ser vices. Results. The role of nursing staff in improving the quality of medical care was studied; the analysis was carried out, and the features of management of nursing activities in the provision of in-home medical ser vices were considered. Conclusion. In providing in-home care, it is essential to properly distribute functional responsibilities between a doctor and a nurse. Repeated visits in order to check patient compliance with bed rest, the implementation of the prescribed treatment, and the implementation of patronage may be assigned to nursing personnel.
