Abstract
The abrasive wear resistance of samples made of steels St3Gsl, 35, 45, 65G, U8 is investigated. Samples of technical iron are used as a reference material. To increase the abrasive wear resistance of carbon and low-alloy steels, it is proposed to carry out preliminary normalization with an extreme heating temperature of 1100 °C before the final heat treatment. After re-hardening and low tempering, the wear resistance can increase from 20 to 50%.
