Abstract
Traditional Jewish communities are beginning to recognize an increasingly obvious crisis in the area of applied ethics. This is not a sociological investigation, so no attempt will be made to document this problem in a systematic way. I will begin simply by citing three extreme examples of ethics failures inside traditional Jewish communities. These are highly emotional issues, and they raise questions about the very identity of the Jewish community.
