Abstract

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) are the most common primary liver cancers (PLCs).1 Recent data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program showed incidence rates of HCC in the United States have increased over several decades but started to decrease in 2015.2 On the other hand, the incidence of iCCA in the United States has continued to increase for the past few decades.3 In addition, trends of iCCA and HCC incidence varied among racial and ethnic groups in the United States.
