Background and aims Acid rain alters aluminum (Al) and nutrient cycling in tea (Camellia sinensis) plantations. However, the underlying mechanisms of the interaction among Al, nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) dynamics in response to increasing acidity of rain remain unclear.
