Abstract
We previously showed that serum androgens were significantly increased by follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) administration in PCOS women. Similar increases were not observed in normal women. The study objective was to determine whether FSH enhances theca cell androgen responsiveness to human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) stimulation in PCOS women compared to normal women.
