Abstract

Objective: Recent improvements in clinical ART have lead to increase the interest towards human ovarian tissue cryopreservation in order to preserve fertility and ovarian steroidogenic activity in young cancer patients. Since a threshold sucrose concentration in cryopreservation solutions increases human oocyte survival after cryopreservation, the aim of the present study was to verify the effect of sucrose concentration on human ovarian tissue survival after thawing.
