Abstract
BRITISH AEROSPACE, Warton Division, have increased their production capability for electrically screened harness assemblies by purchasing a further 4 Harness Braiding machines from the Ashton‐Under‐Lyne braiding machine manufacturer J B Hyde. From an initial five screened harness on Tornado Aircraft, this number has been increased to forty‐five, including sub‐contract work on AV8B, T45, F4 Phantom, SAAB, Canberra midlife update and EAP. Many systems are electrically screened to Tempest standard, offering protection over a wide range of frequencies.
