Abstract
AbstractObjective: To identify the relationship between home births and maternal autonomy, postpartum satisfaction, and neonatal Apgar scores.Design: Quasi-experimental, DescriptiveSetting: Precious Beginnings Midwifery Care in Hutchinson and Wichita KansasParticipants: Mothers who have had home births up to two years ago with Precious Beginnings Midwifery CareMethods: Data regarding Apgar scores will be collected from Precious Beginnings Midwifery Care to be analysed and mothers who have used their services in the past two years will be sent anonymous surveys. The mothers will answer questions regarding their autonomy with a yes or no answer while they will rate their postpartum satisfaction on a five-point scale.Results/Conclusions: Pending results and data collection
