Abstract

Purpose: Non-idiopathic scoliosis encompasses a group of diagnoses including neuromuscular, syndromic, and congenital scoliosis. Neuromuscular scoliosis includes conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and spinal muscular atrophy. Syndromic scoliosis patients are those with Marfan’s Syndrome, Down Syndrome, and DiGeorge Syndrome. Congenital Scoliosis are patients with a congenitally malformed vertebra.
