Abstract

We investigate here the growth and stability of the cesium salt of borocaptate (BSH), a clinically utilized drug for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), onto the surface of SiNWs via a facile anodic bias process. The results show that the boron concentration present on the SiNWs is about 6 orders higher than the typical boron concentrations in tumor tissue after IV administration with free BSH.
