Abstract

Trust is becoming a major issue in Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), in which agents need to delegate some tasks to others. Trust can be defined as the degree of confidence in an agent's prediction of another agent's future behaviour. In the context of the BDI model, trust can be defined as the beliefs that one agent has of another's beliefs, desires, intentions and capabilities. This paper first presents our own version of BDI interpreter. Then, the above vision of trust is incorporated into the BDI interpreter in order to help an agent in the decision process before delegating tasks to other agents.
