Abstract
Within the framework of perturbative quantum chromodynamics we calculate the cross section as well as energy and angular distributions for inclusive $\frac{J}{\ensuremath{\psi}}$ production in ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ annihilations. The correct color-singlet assignment of the $\frac{J}{\ensuremath{\psi}}$ is taken into account. Our results are compared with the predictions of the "color-evaporation model."
