Abstract
Starting with a general approach to non-equilibrium, the relevant statistical operator is calculated by means of Zubarev's formalism. A VUU type of equation is derived, which includes bound state formation. We discuss a set of coupled Boltzmann equations for the distribution functions of clusters. The generalized Vlasov term contains the ordinary mean field contributions and such arising due to cluster-cluster interactions. The cluster collision term is derived using a Born approximation.
