Abstract

An 81-year-old woman had a history of congestive heart failure with shortness of breath, chest pain, and headaches. A dipyridamole-augmented Tc-99m sestamibi gated SPECT myocardial perfusion scan revealed increased uptake in the axial and appendicular skeleton that increased over time. Subsequent bone marrow biopsy revealed multiple myeloma.
