greater percentage reduction in LDL-C in response to rosuvastatin but not atorvastatin in Hong Kong Han Chinese patients compared with those in patients from a mixture of other Asian or Western countries in the DISCOVERY program. This may be related to differences in the frequency of genetic variants as well as differences in diet and other lifestyle aspects.
