Abstract

Incidence of PONV in Maxillofacial Surgery: Comparison of High-Flow and Low-Flow Anesthesia Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) still remains the “big little challenge” for anesthesiologists in their everyday practice. The aim of this study was to compare the incidence and severity of PONV, antiemetic requirement and patient satisfaction, after high-flow versus low-flow sevoflurane anesthesia without antiemetic prophylaxis.
