Abstract

A total of 140 samples (60 raw milk, 20 infant powder milk and 20 powdered milk, 20 processed cheese and 20 Ras cheese, samples were analyzed for Aflatoxin M1 (AFM1). The samples were collected randomly during October 2017 – February 2018, from dairy farms and local markets from Cairo and Mansoura, Egypt. The used method was Immuno sorbent assay method (ELISA) technique. Results show that the prevalence of Aflatoxinsaccording Codex Standard 193-1995 in Ras cheeses, Processed cheeses, Raw milk, Milk powder and Infant milk were 100%, 95%, 88.3%, 60% and 35%, respectively.
